Sometimes, quite often in fact, I loose the ability to drag and drop. I have found out if I kill explorer.exe and restart it, I again can drag and drop for some time, before the ability is lost again. This is very annoying, very. Can somebody help with a solution for that except a total reinstall of Windows 7? Thank you.

as of now i am using windows7 and i haven't experience such trouble so far. did you touch anything that makes it like that? for me to do a total recovery i would probably reinstall it to avoid much more problem.
